Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne was in Lowestoft this morning with Peter Aldous Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Waveney on a visit to Harrod UK, who manufacture goal posts, nets and other sports equipment, as well as garden furniture.

Peter Aldous welcomes Secretary of State for Transport to Lowestoft to discuss Third Crossing

Following on from the Prime Minister's visit to Lowestoft last Friday, Secretary of State for Transport Patrick McLoughlin was back in town this morning to meet Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Waveney Peter Aldous to discuss the plans for the Third Crossing, which the Prime Minister announced a Conservative Government will ensure would be prepared by next March ahead of the 2016 Budget.

Prime Minister pledges to build Third Crossing in Lowestoft

Peter Aldous Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Waveney last Friday met with the Prime Minister David Cameron in Lowestoft to discuss the need for a Third Crossing in the town. David Cameron pledged his support for a Third Crossing in the centre of Lake Lothing with plans to be completed in 2016 and the objective of being built in 2020.
